Awesome Stuff

At the Bryson house we played Phase 10 a lot, Monopoly Deal a lot, Yahtzee Hands Down a couple times, and we played on the Wii quite a bit! Oh, and we talked for, like an hour, every night! I know, right? And then at the Davis house we checked email and blogged and got sick (I got sick on Tuesday) and watched Gabrielle and Joshua and Noah!!! Oh, and Alex, Jacob and I stayed up till 4:00 AM one night/morning!! Wow! Oh, but that could have been because of our trip to Publix. . . . . . . . . . . . click on this link to see. . . . . Our Trip to the Store!

And we Skyped. We Skyped at both houses, and it was fun!!!!!!!!! Oh, Alex, if you're reading this, I LEFT MY COKE AT YOUR HOUSE!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! So, yeah. Oh, and, Alex, I left my bible at your house. Care to bring it on Sunday? Thanks, you're such a great friend!!! And then we came home and found post-it notes all over the house with things like: 'No matter what time it is - we are thinking about YOU!' and 'You're loved!' and 'We love YOU and miss YOU!'. I love Mommy and Daddy, too. :D And we found cards on the table with, could it be, PHASE 10!!!! AWESOME!!!! Oh, yeah, we also found pretty much NO FOOD!!! Bad, bad, bad. :D :D And Phoebe was loving us and loving us, it was like she couldn't get enough of us! I sure do love Phoebe!! Today after Skype we are going to pick up Toby!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!! And Alex? I want my coke. :D And, Jenna if you're reading this, that talking for an hour every night was a GOOD, AWESOME, WONDERFUL thing, okay?

More with Vera

Okay, so I'm going to skip ahead a little. . . . . . . . . . .okay, a lot. It is when we first Skyped my parents in Ukraine. We were spending one week with good friends of ours, the Bryson's, and then we would be at other good friends of our, the Davis'. We Skyped there too. Anyway, they had gotten into their new and first apartment in Kiev, the capitol of Ukraine. They said it was small, and the kitchen was tiny! And, they would've showed us the apartment but if they unplugged the computer, it would lose connection, so, they didn't show us. :( They did some stuff there (Not exactly sure what. . . . . :D) and then drove to Nikoleiv, yes, drove! They were supposed to ride on a train, but it was sold out, or something similar, and, anyway, my mom and dad said it was MUCH better, so I'll just say it was better. So they got there and went to their new and second apartment and got situated. This one was bigger. They said the kitchen was still small, but it was twice the size of the last one!! I know, wow! And in this one they had wireless internet connection, so we could see the apartment! Cool, right? There was a little box, and we asked what it was, and, um, it was AC. That's right, Air Conditioning. Wowowowowowowowow!! :D And then I'm pretty sure they took a walk and went to bed. . . . . . . . . . . .boring, right? But, the next day. . . . . . . . . . . . . they met Vera!! Aaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! EXCITING!!!!!! And now. . . . . .this is what they do --- every day: Wake up, breakfast, dressed/showers, see Vera, lunch, walk, see Vera, Mommy blogs, Daddy works, bed. EVERY DAY!!!!
Well, I'll post more later.

How it Started with Vera

One Saturday we went to a coffe shop called Common Grounds and our parents asked us how we would feel if we adopted someone with a disability. Caleb said it would be kind of fun, Jacob didn't really know what to think, as we had just found out, and I said it would be AWESOME (Even if it wasn't a girl)!! So, then Mommy and Daddy told us about Vera, and how they had found her on http://reecesrainbow.org . Later that day I could NOT stop thinking about how I would be getting a sister soon (Or so I thought!), so I was in a pretty good mood! I found out later that it wouldn't be quite that soon. More later! :D
